Accountant / Senior Accountant - Group Finance

Role Objective

  • To support the group-level financial reporting functions.

Job Duties

  • Prepare Group’s month-end consolidation and financial reporting
  • Support the interim/annual audit and liaise with the external auditor
  • Handle month-end closing of the Group’s investment holding companies
  • Assist in the enhancement and maintenance of ERP system (accounting module)
  • Assist on M&A transactions and other ad hoc assignments in Group Finance team as required
  • Provide accounting advice to management relating to accounting treatments and accounting standards, and
  • Eligible for job rotation to other roles in the Finance department for career development, depending on performance and availability

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in Accountancy or related disciplines
  • Qualified accountant of HKICPA
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience, preferably from the real estate industry or Big 4 audit
  • High proficiency in MS Office, including advanced Excel functions and PowerPoint; experience in Power BI is a plus
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Proactive, meticulous and able to work independently, efficiently and under pressure in a demanding and fast-paced environment
  • Good people communication skills and strong teamwork spirit
  • Candidate with less experience would be considered as Accountant
