Assistant Manager, Finance

Accountabilities & Scope

You will be responsible for managing cashflows, preparing management reports, statutory reports and other reports on a monthly basis. You will assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, maintaining accounting controls and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures over financial reporting. You will also review postings and bank reconciliation by Finance Executives. You will review and ensure prompt regulatory submissions such as GST, as well as liaise with statutory auditors to ensure a smooth year-end audit process. You may also be required to support ad-hoc projects and initiatives, such as new system implementations.

  • Preparation of monthly accounts and reporting
  • Preparation of monthly management report, variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting
  • Preparation of Income Tax & GST returns in compliance with Singapore regulations and support any other tax related matters
  • Preparation of annual audited financial statement
  • Liaison with internal and external auditors
  • Support any other assignments as required

 

Profile of the Successful Candidate

You will be a self-driven, meticulous and good team player who have good communication skills and able to work independently. You will have hands-on experience in preparing accounts and recommending financial actions by analysing accounting options. You will have a good Degree from a reputable university in Accountancy or other professional accounting qualifications, with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably within the real estate industry in Singapore. You will have at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
