Assistant Manager, Marketing (AMK Hub)
The Role
You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing communications and retail advertising and promotion (A&P) strategies for the mall. Major responsibilities include planning and executing advertising & promotional activities, as well as liaising with advertising agencies, tenants, contractors and event companies to ensure successful launches of all projects and events. You will also be in charge of leasing of advertising spaces, atrium and push carts to tenants and non-tenants to generate additional revenue for the mall, including development and execution of marketing strategies and end-to-end administration of the whole process.
Keys Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and manage marketing campaigns and access against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Conduct post-campaign analysis, budget tracking, monthly reports for internal analysis, and day-to-day campaign monitoring
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure project success and create awareness for the mall's activities
- Form strategic alliances to source sponsorships, unique event opportunities, and public relations opportunities for the mall.
- Keep track of expenses within the approved budget.
- Conduct post-promotional campaign or event reviews to determine the off promotions/events in terms of shopper traffic and tenant GTO, and prepare monthly reports for internal analysis.
- Manage the marketing of casual leasing in order to increase mall revenue and shoppers’ traffic.
- Manage social media platforms, content creation and integrate online activities with offline marketing promotions. Monitor social channel conversations and act on any insights that can further enhance the customer experience and branding of the mall.
- Maintain customer service initiatives and meet mall service standards.
- Actively participate in group campaigns and initiatives.
Profile of the Successful Candidate
You will be a high-energy, positive and good team player with excellent communication skills and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. You will be a self-driven individual who is passionate in advertising business and marketing communications event. You will have a good Diploma/Degree from a reputable university in Communications/Marketing/Business or related discipline with minimum 5 years of experience preferably in a shopping mall or retail environment.
