Assistant Manager - Corporate Brand (5-mths Contract, Maternity Cover)
Role Objective
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager, Events to lead and execute exceptional corporate and community activities. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing a diverse range of events that enhance our guest experience and elevate our brand presence. Your expertise in event logistics and budget management will be crucial in creating memorable experiences that exceed our guests' expectations.
Job Duties
- Plan and Execute Events: Lead the entire event lifecycle, from inception and project development through tendering and construction to successful completion, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.

Manage and Oversee Logistics and Operations: Coordinate all logistical and operational aspects, including guest management, vendor relations, and the creation of promotional materials (both print and video). Develop engaging collateral content to enhance event visibility and impact.

Monitor Event Progress: Track event execution closely, collaborating with relevant authorities, partners, and both internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and achievement of objectives.

Prepare Reports and Documentation:Create comprehensive reports and documents to facilitate effective communication, including pre-event proposals and post-event evaluations, driving continuous improvement in our event strategy.

Additional Duties: Undertake any other responsibilities or special assignments as directed by your supervisor, contributing to the overall success of our events.
Requirements

University graduate with a minimum of five years’ experience in event management, marketing and hospitality;

Exceptional coordination skills, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and uphold a high level of organisation and attention to detail.

Advanced user of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel) and event management software;

A proactive and self-motivated individual with a “can-do” mindset, capable of thriving both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment;

Experience in sports events or mega events, with a demonstrated ability to handle VIP clientele, is highly advantageous;

Proficiency in both written and spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua;

Willingness to work outside of regular work hours and be on duty as required;

Candidate with less experience may be considered as Senior Officer
