Assistant Manager - Engineering (HK)

Role Objective

  • Oversee a variety of mechanical & electrical related renovation and energy-saving projects within Hong Kong

Job Duties

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and delivery of projects within set timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met effectively.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Monitor project progress, prepare regular reports, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing updates and feedback to the project manager.
  • Conduct the in-house energy-saving studies on mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems to achieve higher energy efficiency, especially on central air conditioning systems
  • Identify potential risks or issues and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
  • Support the documentation process, ensuring all project records are accurate and up to date.

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Building Services Engineering, Electrical & Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in M&E system design, project management or a related role.
  • Knowledge of data analysis, Power BI, and Energy dashboard preferred
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Experience in energy management and existing M&E system upgrading work is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations and best practices
