Assistant Manager - Fresh Market (HK)
Job Duties
- Manage the daily operations and performance of the assigned Fresh Market, ensuring the delivery of quality services and smooth business operations.
- Lead and coach the on-site team, monitor performance, and ensure tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
- Identify operational issues and commercial opportunities, and recommend improvements to service quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to implement policies, procedures, strategies, and promotional campaigns.
- Oversee tenancy matters, including marching in/out of premises, enforcement actions, credit control, and related follow-up.
- Manage and resolve enquiries, complaints, and operational issues involving tenants, customers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor contractors’ performance in security, cleaning, customer service, and maintenance to ensure compliance with agreed standards.
- Prepare operational reports and budgets, monitor KPIs, and provide management with updates and recommendations.
- Support and promote customer centric culture and strive for operational excellence for self and the team.
- Perform other duties and ad hoc assignments as directed by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Property/Housing/Facilities Management or other related disciplines
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience preferably in portfolio management, with at least 3 years in supervisory level
- Previous experience in Fresh Market and Retail Operations would be an advantage
- Self-initiated, detail-oriented with strong commitment to excellence
- Strong customer-orientation and excellent customer service skillsets
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Chinese word processing, particularly on power point presentation
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
- Holder of PMP Licence is preferable
- Candidate with less experience will be considered for the position of Senior Officer – Fresh Market (HK).
