Assistant Manager - HK & SG Investments

Role Objective

This role supports the identification, evaluation and execution of real estate investment and divestment opportunities in Hong Kong and Singapore. This role involves financial analysis, market research, due diligence, and transaction support, contributing to Link’s strategic growth and portfolio diversification in the region.

Job Duties

Investment Analysis & Execution

  • Assist in sourcing and evaluating investment and divestment opportunities in key Asian markets
  • Conduct financial modelling, scenario analysis,  valuation assessments, and investment return analysis for acquisitions, disposal and asset enhancement initiatives
  • Perform hold-sell analyses and strategic reviews for selected assets
  • Prepare investment proposals, presentations, and internal approval papers

Market Research & Intelligence

  • Monitor macroeconomic trends, market dynamics, and regulatory developments across Asia
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and sector-specific research to support investment strategy

Due Diligence & Transaction Support

  • Coordinate due diligence processes including legal, financial, tax, and technical reviews
  • Liaise with external advisors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction execution
  • Support documentation and closing processes for acquisitions and disposals

Portfolio Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track performance of acquired assets and support post-investment reviews
  • Assist in preparing regular investment reports and updates for senior management

Digital & AI Enablement

  • Apply AI literacy across all aspects of the role, including but not limited to investment analysis, market research, due diligence, reporting, workflow optimisation and stakeholder communication, while using AI-enabled tools responsibly to critically review outputs and safeguard confidential information

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field; CFA or Master’s degree is a plus
  • 3-5 years experience in real estate investment, , or advisory
  • Exposure to Asian markets preferred
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated AI literacy, with the ability to use AI-enabled tools responsibly, validate outputs, and apply sound judgement in handling business and confidential information
  • Commercial acumen with a strategic mindset
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong project coordination abilities
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Chinese or other Asian languages is an advantage
