Manager - Business Applications (ERP)

Role Objective

Support the critical business operations and international expansion of Link by delivering well-scoped, on-time, and within-budget due diligence and implementation projects. Ensure continuous operational support for critical business applications and manage cost-effective, reliable IT solutions to meet business needs.

The successful candidate will support and work with business functions such as Finance and Human Resources. This role supports operations across major business-critical platforms like ERP(D365), Treasury management system and HRIS(Success Factor), etc., working closely with their business stakeholders.

The role involves in the implementation, rollout, and ongoing support of Link’s D365 ERP, HRIS, and TMS, work with business units, IT team on business requirements analysis, system analysis, system configurations and customizations, data management, vendor management, ongoing support management, reporting, etc.

Job Duties

  • Coordinate with Senior IT Manager to Manage and develop D365 ERP platform on FO/Procurement/Project module, provide enhancement, support, and maintenance of D365 ERP.
  • Develop trusted working relationships with project manager, business stakeholders and key users, internal IT resources and external vendors.
  • Partner with key Business Users from Finance & Procurement, Human Resource, Treasury team and other business departments as needed in documenting and analysing as-is processes and business rules and designing future to-be processes.
  • Ensure business requirements are fully understood, documented, analysed and validated by all parties.
  • During implementation, provide support to stakeholders in helping them mediate and resolve issues/conflicts, obtain consensus on any changes in system scope & requirements and seek approval of change requests.
  • Facilitate the development and review of the functional specs and technical specs to ensure it covers all requirements and meets the success criteria before signing off by reviewers.
  • Ensure traceability tracking of all requirements across all related deliverables and work products across project lifecycle including functional specs, technical specs, test scripts, training materials, UAT and go live signoffs.
  • Perform test planning and execution of test activities (including but not limited to SIT, UAT, data migration test, performance test, etc.).
  • Provide coordination on requirements collection, user acceptance testing (UAT), application rollout, day-to-day applications operation & support, system maintenance and system enhancements.
  • Develop or review of project plans, test plans, design specifications and other project documentations.
  • Assist users to achieve their business strategies and objectives through IT solutions.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information System, Engineering or related disciplines.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing team across critical applications and business functions, preferably MNCs, in HK, Mainland China and/or overseas.
  • Extensive IT project and portfolio management experience.
  • Hands-on experience in ERP D365, HRIS system project delivery, rollout and support.
  • Ability to introduce new ways of working, influence behaviours, achieve sustainable change adoption to a diverse range of end users.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to liaise with all levels of resources between internal and external teams.
  • Proactive and able to drive changes.
  • Solid ERP project experience, with hands-on knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics AX / 365 is a MUST.
  • Solid Experience on MS SQL database management skill.
  • Solid Experience on report design tools such as PowerBI, crystal report, etc.
  • Solid Experience on different programming languages: ASP.NET, C#/ VB.NET, VBA, etc.
  • Knowledge in Finance & Procurement modules highly desirable.
  • Knowledge in HRIS is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in implementing IT solutions for real estate, asset management or property industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and able to communicate effectively in both English and Cantonese with different levels of users and vendors in resolving business problems. Good communication in Mandarin would be an added advantage.
  • Solid project management skills, preferably with PMP and/or Agile PM qualification.
