Manager - Chief Legal Officer (CLO) Office
Role Objective
Be the primary focal point of the administration and coordination of the Hong Kong REIT Association (“HKREITA”) under the supervision of Link’s Chief Legal Officer.
Job Duties
- Assisting with identifying priorities and developing action plans, drafting letters and papers to the authorities on policy recommendations that benefit the industry
- Developing and implementing communications and marketing strategies to promote HKREITA and its programs to members, stakeholders and the public such as newsletters, social media content and other marketing materials
- Planning and managing all events such as conferences, workshops and networking events for HKREITA and collaborating with members and industry associations to promote the overall development of the industry
- Assisting with the recruitment and retention of members and maintenance of membership records
- Updating documents such as Terms of Reference, Articles of Association and other policies and procedures as and when needed
- Coordinating the association’s audit and managing HKREITA’s bank account and budget
- Taking meeting minutes and follow-up action items
- Assist the Compliance Department on ad-hoc projects and assignments from time to time such as supporting staff training, seminars, presentations, workshops etc.
Requirements
- University degree in communication, social science, business or public administration, management, public relations or related disciplines
- At least 5-8 years of relevant working experience, experience in non-profit organisations or the real estate/property field is an advantage
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills as well as stakeholder management capabilities in managing diverse relationships
- Proactive, ability to work under pressure and unsupervised as well as being a good team player
- Proficiency in PC skills, particularly in MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Chinese Word Processing, Microsoft Teams and Zoom
- Immediately available is highly preferred
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager (CLO Office)
