Manager - Corporate Planning

Role Objective

The Manager – Corporate Planning will assist in updating and maintaining a mid-to-long-term roadmap of macro scenarios and their implications on the financial performance of the Group.

Job Duties

  • Conduct financial forecasts for the Group in the mid-to-long term, taking into account of internal budgets over the next three years.
  • Recalibrate model inputs and assumptions regularly according to latest internal forecasts and market movements. 
  • Generate model forecasts based on scenarios such as acquisitions, divestments, spin-offs, equity offerings, private fund vehicle setups, and other potential corporate actions. 
  • Analyse the impact upon fundamental and credit metrics under different scenarios.
  • Conduct market research and peers’ comparison to incorporate the forward-looking views of the capital and real estate markets.
  • Prepare presentation materials for management discussion and decision making.
  • Respond to internal and external requests and present analyses to respective stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or relevant disciplines with professional qualifications. CPA is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Big-4 accounting firms and/or Corporate Finance, M&A experience gained from investment banking or sizeable corporations, preferably with real estate sector exposure.
  • Strong financial modelling and accounting knowledge. Investment research experience is a plus.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; skilled in Excel VBA and Bloomberg are plus.
  • Strong command of written/spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese).
  • Good presentation skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
  • Fast-paced, energetic, and dynamic, with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Flexible mind-set and ability to adapt to changes.
