Manager - Engineering (HK)

Job Duties

• Lead a team of professional and technical staffs to monitor all building services related activities for the asset enhancement and improvement projects of shopping centres and retail facilities
• Provide engineering / technical support for MVAC improvement works, fire services improvement works and electrical power supply upgrading works including design tasks, preparing tender and drawings, contract management, test and commissioning, and training etc.
• Assist budget plan for asset enhancement projects
• Manage the assigned projects ensuring timely completion from initiation to closure within pre-determined budgets and that ensuring the projects are in compliance with relevant specifications and government regulations
• Coordinate with other in-house teams, external consultants and other vendors

Requirements

• Degree in Building Services, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering or related disciplines
• Member of HKIE or equivalent accredited organization is preferred
• Minimum 8 years post qualification experience in construction industry
• Familiar with local regulations relating to M&E installations and statutory requirements
• Experience in HKBEAM Plus and Energy Building Code are advantageous 
• Worked in developers is definitely a value added experience
• Able to maintain excellent working relationship with all project stakeholders
• Knowledge of design, tender specifications preparation, contract administration and site works supervision related to construction, refurbishment and maintenance of shopping centres and retail facilities
• Strong people management skills with retail commercial sense
