Officer - Business Applications

Role Objective

Support the governance, compliance, and operational oversight of enterprise applications and property management systems. Responsible for coordinating vendors, maintaining project and audit documentation, tracking non-functional requirements (NFRs), and ensuring technology initiatives are delivered in accordance with business, security, and operational requirements.

Job Duties

  • Governance & Compliance Coordination: Prepare and maintain IT governance artifacts, operational procedures, access control records, and compliance documentation. Coordinate NFRs, security review comments, and remediation activities with vendors and internal stakeholders. Maintain project governance trackers, risk logs, and action item registers.
  • Vendor & Service Management: Coordinate with application vendors on system enhancements, issue resolution, and access management. Monitor action items, deliverables, and contractual commitments to ensure timely completion. Assist in solution evaluation, effort estimation, and cost analysis for enhancement initiatives.
  • Audit & Security Support: Support internal and external audit activities by maintaining documentation, evidence repositories, and system control records. Coordinate cybersecurity assessments, penetration testing, and remediation follow-up. Review and track security-related access requests and permission changes.
  • Project Coordination & Delivery Support: Support project planning, progress tracking, testing coordination, and deployment activities. Maintain project schedules, issue logs, RAID registers, and status reports. Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), vendor activities, and stakeholder communications.
  • Operational Support & Documentation: Maintain operational procedures, support documentation, and knowledge repositories. Coordinate application access management and user onboarding. Prepare management reports, status updates, and governance presentation materials.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a liaison between business users, vendors, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and Application teams. Facilitate requirement gathering, issue resolution, and project communications to ensure all decisions and actions are documented.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of experience in IT project coordination, application support, PMO, governance, or service delivery roles.
  • Proven experience coordinating multiple vendors and external support teams.
  • Solid understanding of IT governance, cybersecurity principles, and audit requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining project documentation, operational procedures, and compliance records.
  • Familiarity with system implementation, application enhancement, and testing workflows (UAT).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills with a focus on task follow-through.
  • Effective communication skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).
