Officer - Media Relations
Job Duties
- Implementation of media communications strategies and programmes
- Establish relations and maintain regular communications with media, including handling media and opinion leaders’ enquiries and issues of concerns
- Prepare various communication materials, including news releases, lines-to-take, media Q&As, newsletters, speeches, and briefing materials etc.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English with good bilingual translation capabilities, business Putonghua is essential
- Proficiency in PC skills such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Chinese word processing
- Candidates with more experience will be considered for the role of Senior Officer
- Monitor media and public channels for relevant company and industry-related coverage and issues
- Provide administrative support to the department and assist on general administrative tasks
Requirements
- Degree holder in any discipline
- At least two years’ relevant experience in media or communications field, with discerning knowledge about the media landscape
- An open-minded and positive attitude towards learning, strong curiosity to new ideas and willingness to try new things
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities in managing diverse relationships with the ability to multi-task
- Highly adaptive in fast changing environment
- Proactive and able to work under pressure with due care and attention to detail
