Officer - Project (HK)

Job Duties

  • Conduct condition surveys, site inspections, and feasibility studies for A&A and improvement projects.
  • Assist in preparing cost estimates, budget submissions, and basic project financial control.
  • Tendering and procurement support.
  • Support senior management in site supervision, progress monitoring, quality checks, and coordination of project deliverables.
  • Liaise and coordinate with internal departments, consultants, contractors, authorities, and other stakeholders throughout project delivery.
  • Track site progress, highlight risks, follow up outstanding issues, and evaluate consultant/contractor performance.
  • Maintain proper filing, document control, and correspondence records, including statutory and fire safety related submissions.
  • Assist in preparing meeting minutes, project reports, tender documents, scope summaries, and presentation materials.
  • Support project close-out, defect follow-up, and handover documentation.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned to support project delivery and operational needs.

Requirements

  • Higher Certificate/ Higher Diploma/ Associate Degree or above in Building Surveying, Building Studies, Construction Management, or other related disciplines.
  • At least 3 years’ relevant post-qualification experience, preferably in construction, project management, etc.
  • Experience in project coordination, site supervision, A&A works, repair & maintenance works, or building services projects is an advantage.
  • Familiar with statutory submission requirements, approval procedures, and relevant building/fire safety compliance processes.
  • Good knowledge of project programming, scheduling, reporting, and document control.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project-related software; familiarity with facilities management platforms, AutoCAD, BIM, or digital workflow systems is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Good written English and Chinese, depending on internal and external stakeholder needs.
