Senior Accountant - Group Finance

Role Objective

  • Support the daily operations of the group accounting function

Job Duties

  • Prepare and analyse group’s monthly financial management reporting to senior management

  • Prepare group’s annual budget and quarterly forecasts

  • Prepare group annual report, semi-annual report and financial statements

  • Review month-end closing and management reporting of assigned entities

  • Prepare periodic and ad-hoc analysis and reports to support management decisions

  • Eligible for job rotation to other roles in Finance department for career development depending on performance and availability

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or related disciplines

  • Qualified accountant of HKICPA/ACCA/AICPA

  • At least 5 years relevant experience, preferably from real estate industry

  • High proficiency in MS Office, including advanced Excel functions and PowerPoint; experience in Power BI is a plus

  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese

  • Hands-on, proactive, meticulous and able to work independently, efficiently and under pressure in a demanding and fast pace environment

  • Good people management skills, strong teamwork spirit and able to coach and develop subordinates

  • Immediately available is preferred

  • Less experience would be considered as Accountant
