Senior Executive, Operations (AMK Hub)
As a key member in the mall operations team in managing the daily operations, maintenance, and upkeep of the mall facilities, you will be responsible for the soft services including housekeeping, landscaping, pest control and building maintenance in the mall.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all housekeeping and pest control operations to ensure the service standards are met
- Supervise landscaping initiatives to improve the aesthetic appeal of the shopping mall
- Lead and work together with the technical team to identify and carry out the building repairs and maintenance
- Develop and manage waste disposal procedures in compliance with environmental regulations and optimize waste segregation, recycling, and disposal systems to enhance sustainability.
- Follow through the tender and/or quotation process, evaluate and recommend for the service or contract to be awarded es
- Identify opportunities to reduce water consumption and work towards achieving the sustainability target set
- Maintain proper inventory and maintenance record
- Monitor expenses within approved budgets
- Prepare purchase order and liaise with Finance on payment to vendors
Profile of the Successful candidate
The successful candidate is passionate about facilities management and can interact with various stakeholders from all levels. A team player who is dynamic, proactive, result oriented, and possesses excellent communication skills, able to work independently and perform under pressure and tight deadlines. The candidate must be willing to be hands-on in performing site checks.
The candidate possesses at least a diploma in Facility Management, Environmental Science, or a related field. He or she would have at least two years’ experience in similar capacity of shopping mall building, facilities management and/or MCST. Candidate equipped with certified ECO and WEMP will be preferred.
