Senior Executive, Operations (Jurong Point)

Accountabilities and Scope

As a key member of the mall operations team, you will oversee the daily operations of safety, security and car park management of the mall to upjold the high operational standards and regulatory compliance.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage daily operations of safety, security, and carpark management, ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Emergency Response and Recovery Plan, crisis management procedures and business continuity plans.
  • Conduct safety audits, inspections, and reviews to ensure operational readiness and compliance.
  • Supervise outsourced security officers, review and approve duty rosters, and ensure service quality and performance meet agreed KPIs.
  • Oversee maintenance and lifecycle replacement of security surveillance systems, safety equipment, and carpark facilities.
  • Investigate incidents or complaints related to fire safety, security, and carpark operations, and liaise with insurers or relevant authorities where necessary.
  • Manage procurement processes for safety, security, and operational services, including tender preparation, evaluation, and vendor performance reviews.
  • Standardize operational procedures, processes, and scopes of work in accordance with legal and internal requirements.
  • Oversee contractor performance to ensure timely and quality delivery of contractual obligations.
  • Conduct internal audits and facilitate external audits to ensure ISO and other certifications are maintained.
  • Prepare and present management reports (monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual) on operational performance, compliance, and improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to assess security needs and align operational strategies with overall mall objectives.

Requirements: 

  • At least a Diploma in Building/Facilities Management, Real Estate, Protective Services, Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar capacity in mall operations.
  • Strong working knowledge with shopping mall’s safety and security system, local codes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and perform under pressure and tight deadlines.
