Senior Manager - AI Solution & Business Adoption
Role Objective
Drive enterprise-level AI adoption that delivers measurable, defensible business outcomes. Accountable for shaping, prioritising, and delivering AI use cases end-to-end - from opportunity identification and solution shaping through production rollout, sustained adoption, and benefits realisation. The role bridges business processes and AI-enabled solutions, ensuring credible value delivery (not pilots alone) while operating within governance, risk, and architecture standards.
Job Duties
- Lead end-to-end delivery of AI initiatives, including use case identification, solution shaping, delivery governance, deployment, and post-go-live adoption & optimisation
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify high-impact AI opportunities and translate them into actionable project plans
- Drive AI execution with ownership of scope, timeline, budget, quality, and realised business outcomes (adoption and benefits)
- Manage cross-functional teams including IT teams, and external vendors
- Ensure AI solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture and governance standards
- Establish and enforce best practices for AI solution lifecycle management, including controls, documentation, and operational readiness
- Oversee data readiness for priority AI use cases, including data sourcing, quality, governance, integration, and access controls
- Provide leadership in Agile and traditional project management methodologies to ensure efficient delivery
- Define success metrics and monitor adoption and performance of AI-enabled processes; intervene where value is not materialising
- Communicate portfolio progress, risks, decisions, and value realisation to senior management with executive-ready narratives
- Build and mentor a high-performing AI team, fostering innovation and continuous learning
- Stay up to date with emerging AI trends and assess their applicability to the organization
- Own and maintain the AI use-case portfolio (intake → prioritisation → pilot → production → benefits realisation), ensuring cases do not stall at “POC”
- Lead stakeholder alignment and change management with department heads and key users to embed AI into day-to-day workflows
- Challenge, reset, or stop initiatives that lack credible value, readiness, or business ownership to protect organisational credibility
- Ensure responsible AI adoption aligned to AI governance, regulatory expectations, and enterprise risk controls
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines
- 10+ years in digital transformation, product/programme delivery, AI/analytics initiatives, or enterprise change, with proven track record delivering measurable business outcomes
- Strong AI technical fluency to evaluate and shape solutions (e.g., Copilot, RAG, workflow automation, analytics-driven AI, agentic patterns) and to challenge vendors/teams—without needing to be an engineer
- Demonstrated experience managing full initiative lifecycle from ideation through production rollout, adoption, and benefits tracking
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and grow technical teams
- Solid understanding of data architecture, data platforms, and cloud technologies
- Strong senior stakeholder management skills with ability to bridge business and technical teams, influence decisions, and drive accountability
- PMP and/or Agile certification (e.g., Scrum, SAFe) is preferred
- Experience in Agile project delivery and modern development practices
- Strategic mindset with independent and forward-looking perspectives on AI adoption and enterprise transformation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
- Proven ability to drive adoption and behavioural/process change, including training, enablement, and measurement of sustained usage
- Commercially grounded mindset with integrity in benefits/ROI claims and willingness to stop low-value initiatives
- Experience in deploying AI solutions in enterprise environments (e.g., finance, leasing, retail, or asset management)
- Familiarity with AI governance, ethics, and regulatory considerations
- Experience leading AI adoption programmes (e.g., Copilot/AI enablement) across diverse business functions, including measuring value realisation (Not a standalone data scientist or AI engineer role; success is measured by business adoption and tangible outcomes)
