Senior Manager - Business Applications (ERP)
Role Objective
Support the critical business operations and international expansion of Link by delivering well-scoped, on-time, and within-budget due diligence and implementation projects. Ensure continuous operational support for critical business applications and manage cost-effective, reliable IT solutions to meet business needs.
The successful candidate will lead a team aligned with business functions such as Finance and Human Resources. This team supports operations across major business-critical platforms like ERP, Treasury management system and HRIS, working closely with their business stakeholders.
The role involves collaborating with the business to fulfill and prioritize their needs, justifying business benefits, performing system design and analysis, ensuring all IT solutions comply with Link’s IT landscape, managing IT vendors, and balancing the interests of all stakeholders.
Job Duties
Project Management
- Ensure successful project delivery on time, within budget, and scope, while meeting quality standards and business needs.
- Manage change, risks, UAT, deployment, and support.
- Communicate with business stakeholders to fulfill needs and provide periodic status reports.
- Collaborate with architects to ensure compliance and integrity of the enterprise application landscape.
- Prepare and consolidate annual budgets, track expenses, and support system projects.
Application Management and Support

Vendor Management
- Manage vendor selection and performance evaluation throughout project implementation.
- Provide technical advice and assist in software and vendor selection during the RFP process.
- Review and negotiate contracts to ensure advantageous terms.
- Track and evaluate vendor performance for contract renewal.
Stakeholder Management
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
- Manage stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment and support for projects.
- Provide clear and regular communication to keep stakeholders informed and involved.
Team Management
- Monitor team performance and ensure compliance with company requirements.
- Plan and review team resources according to business and IT roadmaps.
- Be accountable for the team's success based on pre-set goals.
Communications
- Develop professional presentation materials and review them with IT and business stakeholders.
- Conduct presentations to project teams, steering committees, and senior management.
Requirements
Qualification
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information System, Engineering or related disciplines.
- Holder of PMP or PRINCE certification preferred.
Work Experience
- 12+ years of experience in managing team across critical applications and business functions, preferably MNCs, in HK, Mainland China and/or overseas.
- Extensive IT project and portfolio management experience.
- Hands-on experience in ERP, HRIS system project delivery, rollout and support.
Project Experience
- Solid experience in Project Management, IT system SDLC, change management, and resource management.
- Excellent at gathering and organizing business requirements, ensuring they are MECE, and translating them into technical design specifications.
- Preferred experience in real estate and property management.
- Highly preferred experience in implementing, managing, and supporting ERP or HR systems.
- Must have experience in business process and workflow development, optimization, support, and management.
- Experience working across different property management solutions, understanding technical architecture and design, and familiarity with business junctions and processes.
- Ability to translate between business and technical contexts.
- Ability to understand business processes, identify system touchpoints, highlight IT-related risks or bottlenecks, and recommend areas of improvement.
Communications Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for various levels of executives and stakeholders.
- Ability to develop and present boardroom-quality presentation materials.
Technical Skills
- Demonstrated understanding of system and programming concepts, with a background in programming or system architecture design highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills in incident and problem management.
- Knowledge of web-based technology stacks, on-premises and AWS/Azure Cloud system architecture patterns and components, interfaces, APIs, data entity relationships, and database skills such as SQL.
- Product knowledge on D365 F&O, D365 CRM, SAP SuccessFactors is advantage.
