Senior Officer - Business Analytics

Role Objective

Structure, design, build, and enhance group centralised data warehouse and Power BI reports in the Microsoft Fabric environment, partnering with users to deliver useful, relevant and timely data analytics to support business decisions.

Job Duties

  • Build Power BI reports/dashboards and semantic models for business use.
  • Develop and maintain Fabric-based data pipelines using Data Factory.
  • Use Fabric Copilot to accelerate development and improve productivity.
  • Support Report Builder as required.
  • Automate reporting workflows and operational support using Power Automate.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage timelines, and communicate progress.
  • Contribute ideas for continuous improvement, especially AI for analytics, Machine Learning, and advanced analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related disciplines with formal technical training.
  • Strong data analytics and Power BI development experience (data modelling, DAX, SQL, Stored Procedure, performance/quality focus).
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Data Factory, Report Builder and Power Automate.
  • Good project management and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of BI governance, deployments, documentation and lifecycle management.
  • Positive, proactive, passionate and collaborative with a strong interest in new technologies—especially in AI-enabled analytics.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and/or advanced analytics is a plus.
  • Understanding of retail property business is ideal but not mandatory.
