Senior Officer - Corporate Planning
Role Objective
Senior Officer - Corporate Planning will assist in updating and maintaining a mid-to-long-term roadmap of macro scenarios and their implications on the financial performance of the Group.
Job Duties
- Maintain financial model and forecasts for the Group in the mid-to-long term
- Regularly align and adjust model inputs and assumptions per the latest internal forecasts and external estimates.
- Generate model forecasts based on various scenarios for acquisitions, divestments, spin-offs, equity offerings, private fund vehicle setups, and other potential corporate actions.
- Conduct market research and peers’ comparison to keep abreast of the capital markets and the real estate markets, and to prepare regular reports for management.
- Prepare presentation materials for management discussion and decision making.
- Assist on other ad-hoc projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, Finance, Accounting, or relevant disciplines with professional qualifications. CPA is a plus.
- 2-3 year of relevant experience in Big-4 accounting firms and/or Corporate Finance, M&A experience gained from investment banking or sizeable corporations.
- Strong financial and accounting knowledge. Investment research experience is a plus.
- Good presentation skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
- With flexible mind-set and ability to adapt to changes
- High competence in Excel and PowerPoint; skilled in Excel VBA and Bloomberg are plus.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
Remuneration
